Helping You Thrive
At LIFT Movement Hub, we help active individuals move stronger, stay injury-free, and build confidence in their bodies. Our goal is to empower you to keep doing what you love without the fear of injury.
A Commitment to pro level Care
Finn has a strong history in elite and professional sports coaching. He recognised a significant gap between the high-quality care pro athletes receive and the treatment available for everyday individuals. This disparity inspired the creation of LIFT, where we aim to bring that level of care and expertise to everyone.
The Inspiration Behind LIFT
We saw a gap in injury recovery and long-term strength training for busy professionals and weekend warriors.
Many struggle with inactivity and lingering injuries, leading to chronic health issues. We believe smarter training can help you break free from this cycle and reclaim your health.
FAQs
-
Exercise physiology is the science of using movement to improve strength, recovery, and overall health. As an Exercise Physiologist (EP), Finn has not only worked in Strength & Conditioning but also alongside some of the best physiotherapists, surgeons, and sports doctors. EPs implement multidisciplinary expertise and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients. This approach goes beyond just “working out”—it’s about using evidence-based training to bridge the gap between rehab and long-term strength so you can move, train, and perform at your best.
-
A Personal Trainer (PT) focuses on general fitness goals like weight loss, muscle gain, or endurance. An Exercise Physiologist (EP), on the other hand, is university-trained with a deep understanding of injury, heart disease, cancer, neuromuscular conditions, and other chronic health issues. EPs cover the full spectrum of health, from rehabilitation to performance, ensuring that training is safe, effective, and tailored to individual needs. At LIFT, we help you move pain-free, build resilience, and train with a long-term approach rather than just pushing for short-term results.
-
Physiotherapists are experts in diagnosing and treating injuries in the short term, using hands-on techniques and rehabilitation to help you recover. Think of physio as getting you to 80%—pain-free and functional—but not quite back to full strength. This is where an Exercise Physiologist steps in. EPs take you from 80% to 100%—and even beyond to 110%, rebuilding your strength, confidence, and resilience so you can return to sport, exercise, and life at full capacity.
But you don’t have to pick just one. In fact, the best recovery comes from working with both your physio and your EP together. They’re trained to collaborate, ensuring you get a seamless, progressive recovery plan that covers everything from early rehab to full-strength training.
-
At LIFT, we saw the gap between single-session training and real progress. With pay-per-session models, clients often get just one hour per week to work on their recovery or strength, leaving them without the structure, support, or momentum needed to make real improvements.
Instead of a one-off approach, our ongoing, tailored programming gives you:
More effective training with a clear plan and structured progress
Greater accountability to keep you consistent and on track
More value for your money—you get ongoing coaching, adjustments, and support for less than the cost of one in person- sessions
This means better results, fewer setbacks, and a smarter way to train.
